Refund and Cancellation Policy

At Easy Charge Energy Solution, we are committed to providing high-quality rooftop solar solutions and EV charging station installations. Due to the nature of our services, which often involve custom design, specialized equipment procurement, and on-site installation, our refund and cancellation policy differs from standard retail purchases.
Please note: This policy outlines general terms. Specific refund and cancellation clauses, including payment schedules, project milestones, and any applicable charges, will be explicitly detailed in your individual Service Agreement or Project Contract signed with Easy Charge Energy Solution. The terms of the signed agreement will supersede this general policy.
1. Consultation & Design Fees
- Initial Consultation: Our initial consultations are generally free of charge.
- Detailed Design/Feasibility Study Fees: If a fee is charged for a detailed site assessment, engineering design, or feasibility study, this fee is typically non-refundable once the work for that phase has commenced.
2. Service & Installation Projects
For rooftop solar and EV charging station installation projects:
- Deposits/Advance Payments:
- Deposits or advance payments made to secure equipment, initiate project planning, or begin procurement are generally non-refundable if the project is cancelled by the client after substantial work or procurement has begun.
- A portion of the deposit may be refundable if cancellation occurs very early in the process and no significant costs have been incurred by Easy Charge Energy Solution. This will be determined on a case-by-case basis and outlined in your specific contract.
- Cancellation by Client:
- If a client cancels a project after the Service Agreement has been signed and work has commenced (e.g., equipment ordered, design completed, permits applied for), the client may be liable for costs incurred by Easy Charge Energy Solution up to the point of cancellation, including but not limited to design fees, permit fees, equipment restocking fees, and labor costs.
- Any refund for payments made will be calculated after deducting all such incurred costs and applicable charges.
- Cancellation by Easy Charge Energy Solution:
- In the unlikely event that Easy Charge Energy Solution needs to cancel a project (e.g., due to unforeseen circumstances, regulatory changes, or inability to perform the service), a full refund of all payments made by the client for services not rendered will be issued.
- Completion of Work:
- Once an installation project is completed, commissioned, and accepted by the client as per the Service Agreement, payments for the completed work are non-refundable. Warranties for equipment and workmanship will apply as per the specific terms of your contract.
3. Products (e.g., standalone EV chargers sold without installation)
If Easy Charge Energy Solution sells standalone products (e.g., a boxed EV charger without installation service) directly to customers:
- Return Period: Returns for uninstalled, unused, and undamaged products may be accepted within 7 days of delivery, subject to a restocking fee of 100% .
- Condition of Product: Products must be returned in their original packaging, with all accessories and documentation. Any signs of use, damage, or missing components may result in a denial of refund or a partial refund.
- Proof of Purchase: A valid receipt or proof of purchase is required for all returns.
- Refund Process: Refunds will be processed within 7 business days of receiving the returned product and verifying its condition. The refund will be issued to the original method of payment.
- Shipping Costs: Original shipping costs are non-refundable. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
- Defective Products: If a product is found to be defective upon delivery, please contact us immediately for assessment and resolution under warranty terms.
4. Changes to Policy
Easy Charge Energy Solution reserves the right to modify this Refund and Cancellation Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new policy.
